The 20 Most Common Words in English

First thoughts:

If "he" is 15th, then where is "she?" It's interestingly located at #28.

If people talk about themselves so much, why is "I" number 12? "The" is at the top. People use this article more often than using the pronoun to describe themselves. I am THE best.

Maybe kids learning English should know the most commonly used words. Then, looking at the top 20, I've realized that most of them are prepositions and you're not gonna get much of a sentence stringing prepositions together, unless you sing that dumb preposition song.

Here's the sentence I came up with: I have it and you don't.

It's strange that "have" made it in, but no form of "be" or "is" did.
